Since 2016, the Regatta.lu Sailing School has been organised by the GLCR (Groupe Luxembourgeois de Croisière et de Régate) in close collaboration with the FLV (Fédération Luxembourgeoise de Voile) and the SNJ (Service National de la Jeunesse).

Pupils from the CDI have been taking part in this fantastic event for several years now. So this summer holiday it was once again ‘Ship ahoy!’ This year, the regatta took place from 01 - 07 September in Brittany. The start was in Port Haliguen in Quibéron and the last harbour was Port de la Trinité-sur-Mer.

A total of 4 students and 4 teachers from the CDI took part, spread over two boats. Each boat also had a skipper and a co-skipper on board. The entire week was spent together on the boat: sailing, cooking and sleeping. A great experience for everyone - which was crowned with a fantastic second place in Group 1 for one of the CDI teams.
