Time to Say Goodbye
On 7 July, the CDI held its first national graduation ceremony at the Prince Henri Cultural Centre in Walferdange, bringing together students from across its different annexes who completed their educational journey during the 2025/2026 school year. A total of 50 graduates were invited to celebrate this important milestone alongside their families, while class teachers and reference persons were also warmly welcomed to join the occasion.
During the official ceremony, the CDI Directorate and Chargé(e)s de direction proudly presented each graduate with a certificate acknowledging the completion of their educational pathway at the CDI. As a commemorative gift, every student received a CDI Bluetooth speaker.
Following the official proceedings, five food trucks and a mocktail bar provided catering for the participants. The evening then continued on the dance floor and featured a photo booth, a “Wish Workshop” where graduates could share their future aspirations, and the opportunity to leave a message in the year book. A particularly memorable moment was the cutting of the CDI cake, specially created for the occasion.
It was a remarkable evening that will remain in the memories of everyone who attended, combining celebration with heartfelt emotion.
